Sri Lanka has always been a cultured country still grounded in old school systems, beliefs and attitudes so it comes as no surprise whatsoever that The police are currently quizzing at least three women and a man for allegedly acting in locally made pornographic movies. The four individuals were rounded up following the public notice which was released recently.

Apparently, the move was taken following last week’s action to publicize portraits of individuals who had acted in video clips which school children had accessed on their mobile phones.

Sri Lankan police’s Child and Women’s Bureau said they are questioning them for their alleged role in pornographic movies.

Police added that the juvenile court will be moved yet again on November 18 for action against over 100 more pornographic websites. The present crackdown has already resulted in blocking over 800 websites carrying pornographic pictures.
